You Made 2024 Extraordinary!

As we roll into 2025, we want to give a massive shout-out to you for your epic generosity this past year!

Your support of Friends of Williamson County Animal Center has made a huge impact on the animals of WCAC and the community around us.  We’re beyond grateful.

Here’s to an even more legendary year ahead!

Happy New Year!  Rock on!

We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from you, our friends. This year, we saw years of hard work and dreaming come to fruition when the animal center moved to its new location at 1006 Grigsby Hayes Court in Franklin. If you haven’t had a chance to visit, we encourage you to take a tour of what your support for the animals has accomplished here in our community.

Some highlights that were specifically funded by Friends include:

The Emily Magid Education Center has already started to fulfill its function; hosting summer camps for kids to educate a new generation of animal owners, corporate volunteers who want to engage and give back to the animals, advocacy groups, animal CPR classes, and so much more. This room will certainly shape the future of animal owners and caregivers in our area.

The Judy Hayes Community Dog Training Room is used daily by volunteers and staff who are implementing training protocols and teaching newly engaged volunteers about dog walking and safety protocols. And even more exciting, community dog training classes will be offered in the training room in early 2023. Watch the Center’s website for those dates to be announced.

Furry Friends Clinic provided over 500 spays or neuters in the community changing life for those pets and improving their health for the rest of their lives.

An Evening with Friends, our annual fundraising event, raised the most money ever and was once again a sell-out crowd.

Paw Pantry supplied pet food and supplies to owners in need every month. We saw a need for more support in the Fairview community and are now offering monthly resources in that area.

Rabies and Microchip Clinics offered monthly opportunities for pet owners to have their animals microchipped and receive a low-cost rabies vaccine.

Your support is doing GREAT THINGS for animals and their owners throughout Williamson County. But we have so much more to do! We are looking forward to expanding our programs and services in the coming year and hope that you will join us in the work.

We can’t do it without you!
